Hass Avocado

IMG_1008.JPG

A new avocado variety being introduced to Australia with many similarities to traditional Hass. The darkening ripe skin, great taste and nutritional benefits are the same, but where the Gem excels is its egg shape which creates more room for flesh.

Gem also has a thicker skin to a Hass, reducing the risk of damage to the fruit from handling as well as greatly decreasing the risk of pest incursion. This combined with our commitment to excellence
ensures enjoyment and satisfaction for our customers.

Generations of experience, plus that adoption of modern proven farming techniques and agronomy, enables LAVA VALLEY PRODUCE to consistently produce high yielding, high quality produce.

Innovation, Automation, Monitoring
and the Environment

Technology, automation, efficiencies and the protection of the environment are always in the minds of the LAVA VALLEY PRODUCE team. We have implemented a host of systems to increase the precision of our farming and reduce the usage of sprays, chemicals, water and electricity.
