Superior Fresh
Australian Avocados
The main variety grown by Lava Valley Produce. One of the most delicious avocados characterised by its pebbly skin that turns dark when ripe. With its creamy texture and buttery taste, Hass avocados are incredibly versatile and nutritious.
Grown in our fertile red volcanic soils in conjunction with our hands on meets hi- tech growing methods. Picked at peak maturity, carefully processed, and packed to perfection with freshness and best quality in mind. Lava Valley Produce Hass avocados provide a superior taste journey with every bite.

Hass Avocado

A new avocado variety being introduced to Australia with many similarities to traditional Hass. The darkening ripe skin, great taste and nutritional benefits are the same, but where the Gem excels is its egg shape which creates more room for flesh.
Gem also has a thicker skin to a Hass, reducing the risk of damage to the fruit from handling as well as greatly decreasing the risk of pest incursion. This combined with our commitment to excellence ensures enjoyment and satisfaction for our customers.
